Author of The Development of the US Advanced Digital Television System, 1987-1997: The Property Creation of New Media; "Television Set Production at the US-Mexico Border: Trade Policy and Advanced Electronics for the Global Market"; Transborder Ethnic Marketing: NAFTA and the Cultural Production of the Hispanic Audience". Current research focuses on the ongoing political-economic development of the digital television industry in the US and abroad, the property creation of transnational Spanish language Internet web portals, and the impact of regulatory policy in the technical and commercial convergence between television and the Internet.
